About Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC)

Russian Kettlebell Challenge - RKC -School of Strength

If you train with Russian Kettlebell and been using kettlebell long enough, you would have come across the Russian Kettlebell Challenge or RKC. So what is it? It started off when a Russian guy named Pavel Tsatsouline who moved to America and single-handedly revolutionized the strength and fitness scene with this traditional Russian strength training tool. In 2001, Pavel and Dragon Door collaborated and not only published the The Russian Kettlebell Challenge Book and made the first Russian style cast iron kettlebell on America soil, the first kettlebell instructor course took place that year and known as the Russian Kettlebell Challenge (RKC) Instructor Workshop. Today, RKC is known as School of Strength and the Gold Standard in Kettlebell Training.

What is this RKC or School of Strength About?
RKC is known for practising Hardstyle Kettlebell Training and kettlebell is the most preferred strength training tool. The purpose of "Hardstyle" Kettlebell Training is not about training for G.S. instead it is about forging incredible functional strength and fitness so that the body can cope with daily physical task. It make perfect sense why RKC choose to use the kettlebells as the most preferred equipment because of its effectiveness.
RKC is definitely not a bodybuilding club or weightlifting club. RKC is a community of fitness enthusiasms who are passionate about learning and teaching the general public, special military forces and men and women in public services such as people in the fire or police department how to attain high level of functional strength. It is not about how much you bench or back squat. Anyway, these measures of strength may not be even irrelevant in the pursue of excellence of your sports or physical performance.
